We love seeing our regular "Snowbird" guests making their annual trips. The Hampton Inn - Murfreesboro has been the host to thousands of "Snowbird Guests" over the years. Our guests tell us that we are a perfect stop over point...after a good day's drive. After all, it's part of their yearly tradition.

It's time to catch up on what events have happened in their lives - the birth of a new grandbaby, the graduation of their granddaughter from college or a loss of a close family member.

Conveniently located just 25 minutes southeast of downtown Nashville, the hotel is located on Interstate 24, Exit 78-B. The hotel is visible from the exit and located on Armory Drive, just past White Castle, and before the YMCA.

Local Attractions
Guests visiting Murfreesboro must visit the Stones River National Battlefield. This site is located at the edge of downtown and was the location of a three-day Civil War battle.

They have to see Downtown Murfreesboro's Historic District. The square is full of life and booming with business, and a Southern hometown atmosphere.

One landmark on the square that is bursting with preserved history is the Rutherford County Courthouse. It's one of only six courthouses in Tennessee remaining from the Civil War era.

Landmark Restored
Hampton recently completed it's 10th Landmark restoration in Kissimmee, Florida - The Monuments of States. This restoration, which is part of the Explore the Highway with Hampton Save-A-Landmark program, was a unique project celebrating the unity of our country.

For the first time, Hampton has teamed with another organization in the program -AAA - who, as a partner, helped restore the patriotic attraction. The statue was submitted to Hampton by Ronnie Makavitz, a repeat guest of Hampton hotels and a AAA member who enlisted our help to refurbish the monument, restoring the nearby park benches and landscaping.

Since April of 2000, Hampton hotels have restored historical landmarks and roadside attractions across the U.S., from Route 66 structures, to "the World's Largest Santa".
